From going to dinner one night in Tujunga Village to opening our own retail store has been quite an experience. I never thought that my dream would come into fruition so quickly. It was 20 years in the making, so maybe it wasn’t that quickly This is such a quaint neighborhood nestled in Studio City. If you blink you could miss it!

I did see a promo for tonights Modern Family and they drive right past the store! We hadn’t moved in yet but I saw all of our neighbors. The biggest issue I am having is this little store across the street called “Suck It”. I dream of these suckcicles as they call them. I went across the street to cheat on my diet yesterday only to find they are closed on Mondays! I’ll be there today, that is for sure.

As the days pass I often reflect on all of the things that I had hoped for in regards to my business and all of the things that are actually happening. That vision board in my head is becoming a reality and so quickly! Major business changes are coming and I am hoping I will allow myself to take that leap. We can do it, I have faith… Fingers are crossed and as soon as we know the latest I will pass it on to you!

There is beauty all around us and sometimes after a frustrating day it is easy to forget that. One of my favorite things is to go for a walk in the early morning with my one year old son and my husband. I always take my phone to capture the beauty of the wee hours before the world has woken. My day is filled with extinguishing all types of fires and I need to get more in the designing mode rather than doing battle. Finally, I am able to create and design. We are working on our wholesale line sheets, taking pictures for our lookbook and getting ready to a new launch on our wholesale side. We love to hear from our customers. There are so many people with great stories and our jewelry has a way of inspiring people and can be thought provoking. Email us your story, it does mean so much. January is a time for resolutions and I resolved to be more creative and come up with new designs for our brilliant Fortune Formula line. This is such a unique concept and we are working on tons of different variations. We are showing these pieces at all of the upcoming trade shows and we are excited to see the reactions from new and past accounts. Another new addition to the site is our Weekly Inspirations. There are many products we are so excited to launch and this is such a great way to get a feel for what people are looking for! We try to offer these pieces at great prices as to make this a great gift idea or even another piece to add to your collection. We are also running tons of contests on Facebook and offering announcements of upcoming events there. If you haven’t joined already, now is as good of time as any to “LIKE” us! The holidays are such a nice time of year. Thanksgiving kicks off the season and things keep rolling from there. Having a little baby this will be his first thanksgiving and I hope to pass on a beautiful family tradition to him. We are gearing up for out big Hautelook sale on December 9th with 148 brand new items. We have been working so hard to make this our best sale yet! There are so many big things in the works and each morning at Alisa Michelle we start the day wondering what will happen next! It is funny how the weekend used to be a time of freedom, not anymore! As soon as your business becomes a busy one everyday becomes a workday. Recently we had Kelly Clarkson wearing one of our necklaces and that has for sure caused a bit of a buzz around the office! We are selling a ton of the piece which is great so her fans can wear what she is wearing.

Our Hautelook sale is in full swing and going end tomorrow and then it is back to the grind getting the pieces out in a timely manner. Many wonderful things are happening but for now they must remain under wraps! As soon as we can we will fill you in on the news.

Tomorrow (Monday October 24th) one of our necklaces is supposed to be in the NY post. Not sure if it will “really” be in there but that is the word on the street!

It has been close to forever but finally we are launching this amazing new site.
